Self-compassion is very different from self-pity. Feeling the physical feeling of self-compassion, and having self-compassionate thoughts at the same time, is a very powerful way to access your best self. And your best self can then feel resourced and grounded enough to turn outwards, and feel deep compassion for the natural world and for our fellow imperfect-but-hopeful humans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
